In 2006 this annual event was re-named the National Street Choir Festival. The 2006 festival, the 24th, took place in Gateshead and Newcastle and was organised by the Caedmon Choir along with Heaton Voices from Newcastle.

Here are two photographs of the Caedmon Choir during their performance in the Saturday evening concert at the Festival.
