On Friday 16th November 2007, as part of our 20th Birthday celebrations, we held a ceilidh in the Caedmon Hall in Gateshead, which is where our choir first began. Music was provided by the Redheughers Ceilidh Band, and we raised funds for the Lawnmowers Theatre Company which is run by and for people with learning disabilities.

Entertainment was provided by 'Best of Fettle' alias Cath and Alan Clougn, who are both former members of Caedmon Choir. Cath was in fact a founder-member and can be seen on the first photograph on the Past Photographs page.

This was also the night when we said our official goodbye to Sharon Durant, our much-loved leader since 2001, who has moved on to other work. She was presented with a leaving gift during the evening.

On Saturday 22nd December 2007 we sang at Bill Quay Farm in Gateshead during a Christmas Craft-making event.
